Kangaroos click into gear with win

The Kangaroos clicked into gear against a weak Wales side in Bridgend, scoring 13 tries in a record-breaking 76-4 victory at Brewery Field.
The Australians, who struggled in their opening three matches of their tour, led 36-4 at halftime and went on with the job in the second half to record their biggest ever victory over rugby league minnow Wales.
Halfback Brett Kimmorley scored two tries and had a hand in six others to ensure he would wear the No.7 jersey in the first Test against Great Britain at Wigan next Saturday.
Second-rower Craig Fitzgibbon was also outstanding, kicking 11 goals - the most ever by an Australian against Wales, surpassing the previous record of nine which was jointly held by Dave Brown and Mick Cronin.
His 22 points also set a new mark, edging him past the previous record of 21 which was set by Brown at Wembley in 1933.
Coach Chris Anderson would have been pleased to see the halves combination of Craig Gower and Kimmorley orchestrate the victory.
However, his headaches in the centres continued when Ryan Girdler limped off in the first half with what looked to be a recurrence of the calf injury he suffered in the grand final.
