Noyce named new CEO at Sydney Roosters 21/10/2008 04:24:15 PM
Departing Wests Tigers chief executive Steve Noyce will walk straight out of one NRL club into another after being named as the new boss of the Sydney Roosters. Noyce will join the Roosters on November 8, with Scott Longmuir taking over as CEO of the Tigers on November 3. Noyce replaces long-serving Roosters boss Brian Canavan who announced last week he would quit the Roosters at the end of the month ending his 15-year association with the Bondi club. Noyce spent eight seasons at the Tigers developing the merger club into a successful outfit that claimed the 2005 NRL premiership. "I have enjoyed my time and the people at Wests Tigers and now look forward to working and continuing to build the brand at the oldest stand-alone rugby league club in Australia, the Sydney Roosters," Noyce said.
