Is there anyway we can organise some decent chants for this Ashes series?

Default Tait foregoes Ashes

Shaun Tait has confirmed he won't be avaialble for the Ashes.

He believes anyone would need to play a few 4-day matches for their state - something he doesn't believe he can do.

Default England v Bangladesh - ODIs

More preparation against the mighty Bangladesh, with Mashrafe Mortaza back as capt and Swann rested (so he could go drink driving?). England had a practice loss - to get back into the habit.
1st: England by 6 wkts (ini 46th over), with injuries to Bangladesh's topscorer Raqibul Hasan, keeper Mushfiqur Rahim to injury, and man of match Bell
2nd: Bangladesh by 5 runs, opener Imrul Kayes finally out of 1st gear, young bat Jahural Islam the makeshift keeper, Amjal Shahzad taking 3 wkts (for England), Trott not good enough to get the Poms home.
3rd: England by a massive 144 runs, tons to capt Strauss and Trott, a Bopara blast at the end, three wkts to capt Mortaza, but only Mahmudullah got enough, with Bopara getting 4 with the ball as well.

England had tons (and a 50) from Strauss and Trott (2 ODIs only - replacing Bell), a 50 from Bell (befoe injured), a slogging 45* from single match Bopara, and the rest couldn't get past 33; keeper Kieswetter & Collingwood averaged 17; Morgan & Wright in the high single figures. Collingwood & Bopara won the miserly stakes (under 4 an over), with Yardy, Broad, Shahzad (5 wkts), Bresnan & Wright going at under 4 an over; but single gamer offie Tredwell and Anderson went at over 6.

22 yo Raqibul Hasan (who retired in March, but changed his mind) scored 76 in hte 1st ODI - then got injured, fifties to Junaid Siddique and Imrul Kayes, with allrounder Mahmudullah and backup keeper Jahural Islam averaged in the 30s; keeper Mushfiqur Rahim (one game and injured) and dynamo Tamim Iqbal averaged in the 20s; former capts Mohammad Ashraful averaged 13.5, and Shakib ulHasan just 9. Capt mashrafe Mortaza (5 wkts) and (one gamer) Faisal Hossain went at around 4 an over; spinners Shakib ulHasan, Mahmudullah and Abdur Razzak in the 5s, but pacers Rubel Hossain and Shafiul Islam at around 7s.

England take on Pakistan for Tests and ODIs (before heading south), and Bangladesh went touring around Europe - Ireland, Scotland, Netherlands.

Morgan will probably be on the plane, it's frightening to think what he'd do with Mitchell Johnson's wayward bowling!!

Default England to ban tweets

England is so concerned about the possible leaking of changeroom discussions, that they intend to ban their cricketers from tweeting while on England duty.

The affected players will include:
Graham Swann - how many beers he has had?
John Anderson - how he can't swing the Kookaburra?
Kevin Pietersen - how he can't play spin?
Steven Finn - how he can't hold the Kookaburra?

Will they be able to tweet when not selected in the on field 11?
Or, will Australia become a Pom tweet-free zone?

I think you'll find that the Aussies are 'Twits' and not 'Tweets'
