Steelly,

Campsite is best - complete madness!

Accommodation in Pamplona is always hard to find. Transport around the festival time is crazy.

I've done it 3 years in a row now and the best way as 1000's of people have done before is to check out the Fanatics website and book one of there tours.

The reason I think its the best festival is because Spain has loads of other attractions. Make the most out of Spain by seeing San Sebastian, Barcelona or Ibiza at the same time as the running of the bulls. San Fermin (running of the bulls) is from the 6-14th of July every year.

Like I said I've done the festival for the past few years and you will find this to be a cheap option. They will make sure you are there in plenty of time for all the key attractions of the festival. This is one not to be missed!

I'm thinking about doing this in 2010. Has anyone done the Fanatics trip that stays in the Hotel?? How was it? I really want to go but camping is not for me!

Been & done pamps, you have to camp... It goes off in the campsite!

Yeah - we're doing camping as well!!! super excited!

Just trying to sort out transport - getting to Pamplona from Madrid by 7 pm!! Quite frustrating at this point! If anyone is driving or has ideas as to how to get there easily, let me know!!! PLEASE!

Natty

We are catching the train to Pamps from Madrid. Renfe havent released the tickets yet cos you only book 3 months in advance max. But looks reasonable and would at least get to see some of the spanish country side.
