The Festival of San Fermin gets into its true Spanish swing on July 10 after the masses have gone home following the opening ceremony. The middle weekend and closing ceremony stages of the festival have fewer international tourists and are an incredibly authentic Pamplona experience, and with the weekend fitting right in the middle of the festival in 2010 there's every chance it's exactly what you're looking for!
Middle Weekend Camping Packages
Arrive: Friday 9 or Saturday 10 July
Depart: Sunday 11, Monday 12 or Tuesday 13 July
Tour Length: Three or Four Days
Check-in at the campsite is available from 11am on July 9 & 10. With the San Fermin festival already in full swing Pamplona is ready for the taking as soon as you've dumped your backpack in the tent!
The Mid-Week Experience
The Festival of San Fermin gets into full Spanish swing on July 10 after the masses have departed following the Opening Ceremony and first two bull runs. This makes the middle weekend period of the festival extremely appealing as it's essentially free from tourists. You'll see more of the bull action, have no problems getting tickets to the nightly bull fights plus enjoy all the parades, tapas bars & music in a truly authentic Spanish or, more specifically, Navarran atmosphere.
The daily routines & rituals during San Fermin are the same each day. In fact, it's very easy to argue that the middle days of San Fermin are indeed the very best. Come and see for yourself!
San Sebastian Day Trip
Our San Sebastian Day Trip on July 11 is available to passengers booked on our middle weekend accommodation camping packages. The tour departs camp in the morning (after the morning Bull Run) and returns in the early evening ready for you to get stuck into the Pamplona buzz at camp & in town in the evening.
The cost of the day trip is £20pp, pre-bookings via Fanatics website are essential. You can simply book the day trip separately after you have booked your accommodation package. Places are limited and as usual will sell out in advance, so plan ahead to lock in a magical day at the beach at San Sebastian.
