Whats wrong with Aussie boxers?

I have been thinking over the state of Aussie boxing the last few days and thinking about what needs to change in order for our boxers to get on top of the world.

Recent losses to Nedal Hussien, Hussien Hussien, Robbie Peden, Kosta Tszyu, Anthony Mundine, Danny Green, Tommy Brown and Paul Briggs all in world title fights and only one world title holder (IBF champ Vic Darchinian) tells me that something is wrong with the preparation of Aussie boxers.

The Hussein brothers, Mundine and Green have all padded their records with victories over fighters that aren't anywhere near their league and this has allowed them to climb the rankings without decent opposition.

By the time they reach a world title fight they have only fought 1 or 2 big name fighters (at most) and cant step up the pace when the pressure is on.

There are so many talented fighters in Australia but they seem to step around each other and chase the easier fights. Some fights I would like to see happen because:

a) they would be great for boxing fans and
b) they would provide great opposition for each fighter are: N Hussein v Tommy Brown, Peden v Gary St Clair (winners to fight each other), Michael Katsidis v Lovemore Ndou (winner v Nafoul Ben Rabah), Mundine v Green (finally happening), Sam Soliman v Shannon Taylor.

I think the winners would be Hussein, Peden (Hussein to beat Peden), Katsidis (Katsidis to beat Ben Rabah), Green and Soliman.

Would love to know other peoples opinions on these fights, who they think would win, or any other fights you would like to see. Mark
