Sunday 8 October - Australia v India
This will be an unforgettable start to the tournament for the Aussies as they take on hosts India at the 50,000-capacity MA Chidambaram Stadium. The Australians will have to be on the ball in front of what will surely be a delirious crowd cheering on the local heroes.
Match: Australia v India, MA Chidambaram Stadium, 14:00
We will be transferred to the ground on our private coach ready to give the Aussies a patch of golden support in the grandstands!

Monday 9 & Tuesday 10 - Chennai
We have optional sightseeing tours of Chennai or the incredible Mahabalipuram shore temples. Our tour leader will also have tips on doing some of your own exploring before we get together at the pick of Chennai’s local sports bars to watch the cricketing action each evening.

Wednesday 11 October - Flight to Lucknow
Today we fly to the northern city of Lucknow, host city for Australia’s next two fixtures.
Capital of Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow has always been a multicultural city that flourished as a North Indian cultural and artistic hub and was the seat of power of Nawabs in the 18th and 19th centuries.

Thursday 12 October - Australia v South Africa
Australia’s second match of CWC 2023 is against South Africa.
Match: Australia v South Africa, Ekana Cricket Stadium, 14:00
After a below par qualification series South Africa only narrowly avoided having to participate in the qualification tournament. No doubt the Proteas will be up for a big performance against the Aussies and will be looking to repeat their World Cup win at Old Trafford in 2019.

Friday 13, Saturday 14 & Sunday 15 October - Lucknow
Historically Lucknow was the capital of the Awadh region, controlled by the Delhi Sultanate and later the Mughal Empire. It was later transferred to the Nawabs of Awadh. In 1856, the British East India Company abolished local rule and took complete control of the city along with the rest of Awadh and in 1857 transferred it to the British Raj. Along with the rest of India, Lucknow became independent from Britain on 15 August 1947.
We have an optional cultural tour of Lucknow plus a food trail tour of the city - famous locally for its unique take on kebabs! See our tour leader for details.
Each afternoon we’ll get stuck into ahead of each day’s cricketing action - the highlight of which will be getting amongst the locals to watch the India v Pakistan match on Saturday, some locals say this match is more important than the final!

Monday 16 October - Australia v Sri Lanka
This morning we have a flight to Lucknow where after check-in at our hotel we return to the BRSABV Ekana Stadium - home of the Lucknow Super Giants - for Australia’s third round match against Sri Lanka.

Tuesday 17 October - Lucknow
Today we have one more day to take in some of the architectural masterpieces of the city’s long history including the Bara Imambara, the British Residency and the Hazratganj marketplace.

Wednesday 18 October - Lucknow to Bengaluru
Our 3-Match Package ends in Lucknow this morning while our extended 4-Match Package continues to Bengaluru for Australia v Pakistan.
Today travel to the city of Bengaluru ahead of Australia’s next match against Pakistan.
Located on the Deccan Plateau, at an altitude of over 900m, Bangalore has a pleasant climate throughout the year with its many parks and green spaces earning it the reputation of India's ‘Garden City’.

Thursday 19 October - Bengaluru
Bengaluru's history dates back to around 890, as found in a stone inscription found at the Nageshwara Temple in Begur. In 1537 Kempe Gowda, a feudal ruler under the Vijayanagara Empire, established a mud fort, considered the foundation of modern Bangalore. The city was captured by the British East India Company after victory in the Fourth Anglo-Mysore War (1799). The presence of numerous notable sporting arenas in Bangalore makes it one of the country's sporting hubs.

Friday 20 October - Australia v Pakistan
Australia’s next match is a crucial one against Pakistan in what could be an early make-or-break fixture for both teams at the Karnataka State Cricket Association Stadium.
