  • 2011-12: Australia in West Indies

    ODIs:

1st: Fri Mar 16: Kingstown, St Vincent
2nd: Sun Mar 18: Kingstown, St Vincent
3rd: Tue Mar 20: Kingstown, St Vincent

4th: Fri Mar 23: Gros Islet, St Lucia
5th: Sun Mar 5: Gros Islet, St Lucia

    Twenty20s:

1st: Tue Mar 27: Gros Islet, St Lucia

2nd: Fri Mar 30: Bridgetown, Barbados

    Tour:

Mon Apr 2 - 4: v WICB President's XI, Three Ws Oval, Barbados

    Tests:

    1st: Sat Apr 7 - 11, Bridgetown, Barbados

2nd: Sun Apr 15 - 19, Port of Spain, Trinidad

3rd: Mon Apr 23 - 27, Roseau, Dominica (Was: Georgetown, Guyana)

    Scheduling:

The ODIs conflict with the Sheffield Shield Final.

The Tests conflict with the first half of the IPL.

With only an 8 day gap between the Commonwealth Bank ODI Finals and the first ODI in West Indies - it looks like the Chappell-Hadlee ODI series won't be happening in early 2012!

More West Indies turmoil - Guyana

The Guyana govt has locked out the Guyana Cricket Board, following irregularities with its elections of July last year.

The Guyana govt has appointed an interim management committee, headed by Clive Lloyd.

But, the West Indies Board is refusing to recognise the interim Board.

Australia is scheduled to play the 3rd Test in Georgetown - will it go ahead? (or, be re-located to another Caribbean venue?)

that Test series is tightly packed. If any pace bowler cops an injury he will be out for the series.

        Guyana Test still in limbo

Georgetown Test may not go ahead.
Depends on an agreement between the Guyana government, the WICB and the Guyana Cricket Board - yet to be finalised.

          Guyana Test moved to Dominica

The West Indies Board and the Guyana govt couldn't come to an agreement - so the WICB has moved the 3rd Test (same dates) to the small island of Dominica.

Clive Lloyd (appointed by the Guyana govt to head its Interim Management Committee) has since resigned as a Director on the WICB.
