June NRL Premiership Predictions

st. Parramatta Firstly, I support them and they owe me. Haven't really hit their straps yet but have talent all over the park and all the other sides don't want to play them.

nd. Brisbane Simiilar talent to Parramatta and will be hard to stop with everyone fit.

rd. Bulldogs Shouldn't be underestimated, strong all over the park and always hard to beat in semi-finals.

th. Newcastle If Andrew Johns is fit, they are nearly unbeatable, however the loss of Kennedy is huge and if Johns doesn't fire they don't have enough quality to support him.

th. Roosters Playing well presently but always suspect in the big matches through not enough depth.

th. Warriors Everyone keeps waiting for them to falter but it's time we admit they're the real deal. Huge team, but will find it tough to win a semi in Australia.

th. Sharks If all players are fit they are dangerous but not enough depth to win the big games.

th. Nth Eagles Inconsistent, but should win enough at Brookvale to sneak into the semis.

th. St George Will disappoint their 'dragon army' once again. Terrific on paper but mediocre when it matters, big names seldom fire together.

th. Melbourne Club currently in turmoil, through the sacking of Kearns and mounting injuries. This writer will be surprised if they are still around in 3 years.

th. Cowboys Will spring a few surprises up at Townsville but will also get belted a few times when playing away.

th. Panthers Have some highly paid but uncommitted players. Have improved in recent weeks but not enough to threaten.

th. Tigers Unfortunately they still think they can win matches 1970's style. You can't. Until the club decides that they need a coach with brains and players who have more than just a good right hook, they'll always be an anachronism.

th. Raiders Have suffered a huge injury toll and playing roster is not strong enough. How many of their current team can you name?

th. Rabbitohs All their pre-season talk about having recruited well was nonsense. Look at their side and tell me how many of their players would make any of the top 8 teams. Like the Tigers, they need to inherit a more professional attitude and stop trying to win games on the mythical 'Rabbitoh spirit'.

What are your thoughts?
