Saturday July 04, 2009Pamplona Here We Come
For the past six centuries, the Spanish have held the festival of San Fermin involving bulls, dancing and copious volumes of red wine & sangria. Thankfully they'll be backing up to do it all over again in Pamplona in 2009.
The celebration is dedicated to Pamplona's patron Saint, San Fermin, who was killed by bulls that according to legend dragged him through the streets after he'd downed a few too many sangrias.
The Spanish carry a long & proud party reputation and the Festival of San Fermin speaks volumes for that. Without doubt, this is one festival not be missed.
From the massive Opening Ceremony on 6th July to the daily running of the bulls at 8am, the all night street party each day of the festival and the spectacular Closing Ceremony at Midnight on 14th July, over 1500 Fanatics will be there!
