When Bavarian crown prince Ludwig married his beloved princess Therese in front of the town gates of Munich on October 12, 1810, he had no idea that his love would spawn the beer swilling, clog stomping, polka dancing phenomenon that is Oktoberfest.

Last year over six million people attended the 16 day festival, making it the biggest public festival on earth!

Festival Dates: 18 September - 3 October, 2010
Where: Munich, Germany

The festival runs for two weeks & spans three massive weekends. From the anticipation in build up to the tapping of the first keg on opening Saturday, the magic finale of the closing weekend, the non-stop madness of the middle weekend, or our super value mid-week packages, there's something for everyone. You can even extend your stay to include Hungary, Austria, and the Czech Republic!
