France name new faces for Wallabies

France rugby coach Marc Lievremont made only two changes to his team to face Australia on Saturday, recalling lock Sebastien Chabal and bringing in Sebastien Tillous-Borde at scrumhalf.

Tillous-Borde comes in for Jean-Baptiste Elissalde, and Chabal replaces Romain Millo-Chluski.

Elissalde had a head injury during Saturday's 42-17 win over the Pacific Islanders and left the field on a stretcher.

"These are not easy choices, given that the 23-man squad has given us a lot of satisfaction," Lievremont said Tuesday. "We have gone for experience."

Although France had five tries against the Pacific Islanders, Lievremont expects a tighter match against the Wallabies.

"They are very strong, very solid and very brave," Lievremont said. "They don't have many weaknesses and don't give points away. They are very hard to move around."

Flyhalf Matt Giteau kicked Australia to a 28-14 victory over the England squad, which was repeatedly penalised for ruck and maul infringements.

"In the first half against England they buckled without really caving in," Lievremont said. "They suffered a lot in the first half but showed how clever they are. They let England wear themselves out."

FRANCE: Maxime Medard, Julien Malzieu, Benoit Baby, Yannick Jauzion, Cedric Heymans, David Skrela, Sebastien Tillous-Borde; Lionel Faure, Dimitri Szarzewski, Nicolas Mas, Sebastien Chabal, Lionel Nallet, Thierry Dusautoir, Fulgence Ouedraogo, Imanol Harinordoquy.

Replacements: Alexis Palisson, Damien Traille, Julien Tomas, Louis Picamoles, Romain Millo-Chluski, Benoit Lecouls, Benjamin Kayser.
