Port runner suspended for a four weeks
Port Adelaide runner David Arnfield has been slapped with a four-week suspension for repeated breaches of the rules.
The punishment was handed down following a number of infractions arising from last week's AFL showdown against Adelaide.
The AFL said Arnfield had breached the AFL rules that runners can enter the field "for the sole purpose of conferring briefly with the players of his club (and) ... must then immediately leave the playing surface".
The Power may operate with a replacement runner during the suspension.
