Kingi signs with Reds academy

The Queensland Reds have secured promising Australian under-20 halfback Richard Kingi on an academy contract for next year.
Kingi was Australia's stand-out player at the under-20 junior World Championships in Japan earlier this year and played in the Reds final two matches of the 2009 Super 14 campaign.
The 20-year-old will be the Reds' third No.9 on their books behind Wallaby Will Genia and Ben Lucas.
