Jonathan Brown's 200th still on ice

The Brisbane Lions have named captain Jonathan Brown to play Adelaide on Sunday but his 200-game celebrations remain on ice.

Brown's knee injury is still troubling him and coach Michael Voss won't make a call on his fitness until after Saturday morning's final training run at the Gabba.

Although vice-captain Jed Adcock expects his skipper to line up against the Crows, the club have cancelled Brown's Friday morning press conference to talk about his AFL milestone.

The superstar forward has carried a groin problem through the bulk of the season but injured his knee in the last quarter of the five-point win over West Coast in Perth.

Brown still managed to put the problem behind him to kick the last of his five goals to win the match for Brisbane.

Voss has included veteran Travis Johnstone and youngsters James Polkinghorne and Tom Collier in his extended 25-man squad for Sunday's clash.
