Essendon's battle to beat Brisbane has received a setback with the withdrawal of Sam Lonergan and Travis Colyer with a virus.
The pair will sit out Sunday's match at Etihad Stadium with Tyson Slattery and Jarrod Atkinson taking their place in the squad.
The final team of 22 and three emergencies will be settled on Friday night, as per the 5pm deadline.
