St George Illawarra coach Wayne Bennett has stuck with the same combination which thumped Manly in the opening week of the finals for Saturday night's clash against Wests Tigers at ANZ Stadium.

Bennett has done his best to keep Tigers coach Tim Sheens guessing by naming an eight-man bench for the match.

But there appears little chance he will waiver from the formula that has proven so successful this season, with Nick Emmett, Kyle Stanley, Jon Green and Luke Priddis all unlikely to be required.

Hooker Dean Young said he hoped the side would benefit from the week off.

"I used to think the week in week out footy was a bonus, but a few years on I think a week away from high pressure footy is good and gives everyone a chance to freshen up," Young said.
