Sydney have completed the changes to their AFL list, delisting Ed Barlow and Matthew O'Dwyer.

Essendon have also axed five players, including Jason Laycock and Tyson Slattery, ahead of next month's national draft.

Barlow only managed one game this season for a career total of 26, while O'Dwyer played seven matches for the Swans.

Sydney have also delisted Kristin Thornton and rookies Jake Orreal and Taylor Gilchrist.

A serious foot injury ruined Laycock's AFL career - he played no senior games in the last two seasons for a career total of 58.

Slattery only managed one AFL match this season.

The Bombers also cut Christian Bock, Michael Still and rookie John Williams, while onballer Ben Howlett was elevated to the senior list after managing 15 matches this season.

On Thursday, Adelaide delisted Jarrhan Jacky.
