Australia have suffered another loss at the hands of England, with England's rugby league Academy squad whitewashing the Australian Schoolboys.

After the humbling two-Test series defeat, Australia will switch their focus towards France, where they will play a further two matches before returning to Australia in late December.

England claimed a 34-22 victory in the second match, with Albania-born forward Olsi Krasniqi making a English Super League clubs sit up and take notice of his potential impact in 2011.

Castleford centre Jordan Thompson scored a try in each half in a comfortable victory at Leigh Sports Village as England completed their first series victory over Australia for six years.

"It's fantastic to beat the Aussies 2-0, absolutely fantastic," said the 18-year-old Krasniqi.

"I can't believe it and I'm delighted to have been a part of it.

"There is a great bunch of lads here and winning a Test series is brilliant. I know it hasn't happened very often."

Krasniqi, who came through Harlequins' junior system after arriving in London as a youngster from Albania, made 10 Super League appearances this year and he is hoping his first taste of international experience will help him become a regular next season.

"It's been a bit of a rollercoaster for me really," he said. "I had an injury keeping me out in the first game against Australia but these things happen and trying to get into the team was real tough.

"There are a lot of players here who deserved a place in the side but I earned my spot and I'm not sure if a Harlequins player has ever done that in the Academy side before.

"I'm going to take pre-season serious now. I want to be an 18-year-old Super League player. There aren't too many of them about but I want to be one of them."
