Carlton fullback Michael Jamison has signed a new contract tying him to the AFL club until the end of 2014.

The 24-year-old, who has played 59 AFL games since coming off the rookie list to make his debut in 2007, said he was glad to have negotiations finalised early in the season.

He said he had never contemplated moving elsewhere.

"I'm really looking forward to finding some form and concentrating on the year we've got ahead of us, which will hopefully include a lot of finals football," Jamison told the club's website.

"I couldn't even tell you if there was any interest from other clubs, but it wouldn't have mattered anyway.

"I was always going to sign with Carlton and I'm rapt to be staying here for another three years."
