Hore dropped by Hurricanes

Hurricanes captain Andrew Hore has been dropped to the bench for their Super 15 rugby match against the Western Force in Palmerston North on Friday night.

Hooker Hore has been replaced in the starting lineup by Dane Coles with No.8 Victor Vito taking over the captaincy.

The All Black's demotion is one of four changes to the side who lost to the Highlanders 13-6 on May 13.

All Blacks Cory Jane and Conrad Smith both return from respective hamstring and nose injuries, while lock Jason Eaton drops out of the starting 15 with a back problem with Jeremy Thrush taking over.

Halfback Chris Eaton retains his spot with All Black Piri Weepu named on the bench again.

In one positional switch, Andre Taylor moves to the right wing to accommodate the return of fullback Jane, with Alapati Leiua dropping out of the 22.
