Vics consider another spin double

Victoria is set to play two leg spinners again on Wednesday as it attempts to keep Western Australia winless in the Pura Cup.

The Bushrangers play the Warriors at Junction Oval starting on Wednesday and may keep faith with Bryce McGain alongside skipper Cameron White despite the duo struggling at the venue against Queensland last week.

McGain didn't get a wicket as the pair struggled on a flat track which yielded nearly 1200 runs over four days as the Bulls took first innings points.

But they could get another chance over the next four days on a pitch which is expected to turn as the match goes on.

If the Bushrangers decide on a two-pronged spin attack, it is likely rookie paceman Allan Wise will be 12th man.

The match will mark Victorian skipper Darren Berry's first Pura Cup appearance this season after recovering from a broken finger.

Berry kept wicket in Sunday's ING Cup one-day match and came through the test unscathed.

The match will also pit brothers Mike and David Hussey against each other.

Victorian David and West Australian Mike have never played each other in a four-day game.

The Warriors, who have lost both their matches this season, will be led by Test opener Justin Langer.
