Clubs began to queue up for the services of Ali Lauiti'iti after the New Zealand Warriors confirmed the star forward had been offered a release from his National Rugby League contract.

The 2002 Dally M backrower of the year's manager Peter Brown said his client had already received offers from NRL clubs and England.

"All that happened is it was mutually agreed by the Warriors and Ali that if he wants to source other options he can without jeopardising his contract," Brown told AAP.

"Now we'll look to do that and then we'll go back to the Warriors.

"Like everything in football, nothing is forever. It's just circumstances."

Brown admitted Lauiti'iti, 24, was shocked by the Warriors' move.

"It's a bit of a shock to Ali because he's a Kiwi at heart," he said.

"This is all he wants to be. As I explained to him, you have to source every option...both in the NRL and England."

When asked if he had received any offers, Brown said: "Yes, from both the NRL and England".

"A lot will depend on the situation, whether it's an option for him to move now.
