Huddersfield head coach Jon Sharp was appointed as an assistant to new Great Britain coach Brian Noble ahead of the end-of-season Tri-Nations Series.

Noble, who has taken over from Australian David Waite, has also re-engaged Graham Steadman, who has been part of the Great Britain backroom staff for the last two years but was sacked by Castleford earlier this season.

Steadman will relinquish his part-time role in Irish rugby union to concentrate on his duties with Britain and is currently working in the Rugby Football League's performance department.

Britain is also enlisting the help of former Bradford conditioner Carl Jennings, who is currently with Canberra Raiders, but is to fly over from Australia for the triangular tournament.
