Price named captain of the year

Bulldogs skipper Steve Price was named Captain of the Year after steering the Canterbury outfit out of controversy and to second in the NRL regular season.
Price, 30, has been the club's rock during the Bulldogs' recent Coffs Harbour sex scandal and 2002 salary cap controversy and again laid a platform for Canterbury this year.
It is an emotional time for Price who will walk away after 10 years at the Bulldogs at the end of the season to extend his career at the New Zealand Warriors.
