The Sydney Kings have equalled the club's longest winning streak by posting their 13th straight victory against the Townsville Crocodiles 131-128 at the Swamp.

Kings point guard C.J. Bruton was instrumental in the win, leading all scorers with 34 points, while Mark Worthington added 19.

The Crocs were led by Brad Newley and Robert Rose who both tallied 27 points while import forward Larry Abney finished with 24.

The game was a see-sawing affair throughout most of the contest with the scores tied five times in the third quarter.

The visitors pulled away after going on a pivotal 9-0 run either side of the final break before Bruton sealed the win with several crucial baskets down the stretch.

Bruton's biggest shot was the game-winning three-pointer with 20 seconds remaining, which put the Kings out by four.
