England has come from behind to beat Australia 32-31 in a thrilling rugby Test at Twickenham.

England led 16-6 late in the first half but in the space of eight minutes either side of the break, two tries from Elton Flatley and one by Wendell Sailor gave Australia a 28-16 advantage.

Three penalties from Jonny Wilkinson kept England in touch at 31-25 before Ben Cohen's second try of the match in the 69th minute restored the home team's lead.

Australian fullback Matt Burke could have stolen the match back for Australia in the 75th minute but missed with his penalty attempt.

Wilkinson, voted this week as the International PLayer of the Year, had another 100 percent kicking record with six penalties and two conversions, while Burke was successful with four penalties and two conversions from nine attempts.
