Richmond coach Terry Wallace will not be drawn on whether dumped Tiger Joel Bowden will be recalled for Sunday's AFL clash against the Western Bulldogs at Telstra Dome.

Bowden played for the club's VFL affiliate the Coburg Tigers on Saturday and collected 30 possessions in a return to form.

While Wallace said the dual Jack Dyer medallist has regained his confidence, he said his return to the senior side would be discussed by the Tigers match committee later this week.

Wallace also said he was not surprised with the criticism the club received before last Sunday's 64-point win over Fremantle, but said the media have been more interested in "creating" football stories and not just writing about them.
