Swans fans urged to use public transport

AFL fans going to the blockbuster clash between the Sydney Swans and Collingwood are being urged take public transport to the game at Homebush, with all tickets giving punters a free ride on the day.

NSW Transport Minister John Watkins said special train services had been organised to cater for the big crowds expected for Saturday night's clash at ANZ Stadium.

"All tickets to the match include travel on public transport to and from the game," Mr Watkins said.

"Parking is limited, so with a crowd of this size, your best bet is to leave home early and catch the bus or the train direct to Olympic Park."

For more information about transport services to the event call the Transport Infoline on 131 500.
