St George Illawarra and Queensland star Darius Boyd will fly out of the Gold Coast and rejoin his teammates on Wednesday after being quarantined with swine flu fears.

The NRL ordered Boyd not to play in his side's 28-24 NRL loss to the Titans on Monday night because his Maroons teammate Ben Hannant caught swine flu in Melbourne last week.

A Dragons team spokeswoman said Boyd would regroup with his team in Wollongong on Wednesday via a public flight and was not suffering from any symptoms.

She said the rest of the team flew back on a public flight on Tuesday morning.

The spokeswoman also said no swabs had been taken from Boyd to test whether he had the swine flu virus, however he would stay in quarantine regardless.
