Saints, Cats make no late changes

St Kilda and Geelong have gone with their selected teams for Saturday's AFL grand final.

The Saints dropped Robert Eddy for Sean Dempster, while the Cats named an unchanged lineup.

Along with Eddy, veteran defender Max Hudghton is the hard-luck story for St Kilda this week, with the fan favourite unable to force his way into the team.

Small forward Mathew Stokes was the unlucky player for Geelong after he dropped out of the team for the preliminary final.

St Kilda's interchange bench is Jason Gram, Steven King, Farren Ray and Stephen Milne.

The Cats have named Travis Varcoe, Joel Selwood, Mark Blake and Darren Milburn on their bench.

The weather is closing in as forecast, with thunderstorms and hail expected during the match.
