Penrith captain Petero Civoniceva was sent off for a high tackle in the second half of Monday night's NRL match against Canterbury at ANZ Stadium.
The 12-man Panthers went on to defeat the Bulldogs 24-18 after Michael Jennings scored a 70-metre try with six seconds remaining.
