Tribunal yet to sit as Rioli takes ban

Star Hawthorn midfielder Cyril Rioli has accepted a one-match penalty for striking, ruling him out of Saturday night's clash with Richmond.

The Hawks would have thought hard about challenging Rioli's penalty for striking Melbourne onballer Nathan Jones, especially given he was not risking a bigger penalty by going to the tribunal.

Rioli was among six players who accepted their penalties, meaning the tribunal has yet to sit in 2011.

Richmond key defender Luke McGuane will miss two games for his high bump on St Kilda midfielder Farren Ray and Brisbane's James Polkinghorne has accepted a reprimand for striking.

Western Bulldogs utility Daniel Giansiracusa and Brisbane's Jed Adcock were fined for wrestling each other, while Sydney onballer Kieran Jack has accepted his fine for negligent umpire contact.
