Manly have surged to fifth on the NRL ladder with a last gasp 19-13 win over Cronulla at Toyota Stadium last night.

Winger Michael Oldfield secured the visitors a remarkable comeback victory as the Sea Eagles rallied from 13 points down.

Penrith notched their first home victory with a 36-10 thrashing of Canberra, while the Warriors downed the Sydney Roosters 24-12 in Auckland.

Today, a huge crowd is expected at the SCG where St George Illawarra play Canterbury, while Parramatta coach Stephen Kearney takes on former mentor Craig Bellamy when the Eels travel to Melbourne.
