St Kilda fullback Zac Dawson will miss Friday night's important AFL clash against Fremantle after accepting a one-match ban for striking Gold Coast ruckman Josh Fraser.

Dawson risked being sidelined for two games if he was unsuccessful in challenging the ban at the tribunal.

Although Dawson will be unavailable for the finals-shaping clash against the Dockers at Etihad Stadium, the Saints will welcome back skipper Nick Riewoldt, who has served a one-game suspension.

The tribunal was not required to sit on Tuesday night after North Melbourne midfielder Jack Ziebell, Fremantle's Dylan Roberton, Western Bulldogs defender Tom Williams, Adelaide's Chris Knights and Port Adelaide's Cameron O'Shea all accepted reprimands with early guilty pleas.

Ziebell, Roberton and O'Shea were all booked for striking, Knights was charged with engaging in rough conduct and Williams was reported for tripping.

Fremantle's Greg Broughton was fined $900 fine for making negligent contact with an umpire.
