Parramatta NRL utility Tom Humble has joined Wests Tigers on a one-year deal for 2012.

The 22-year-old, who can play fullback, five-eighth, halfback and hooker, agreed to terms with the Tigers who moved quickly to bolster their utility stocks with Tim Moltzen joining St George Illawarra next year.

Humble played six NRL games for the Eels after making his first grade debut last year.

Wests Tigers recruitment manager Warren McDonnell said the signature of Humble would be valuable to next year's NRL squad given his ability to cover several positions.

"Its important for us to add depth to some of our key positions and Tom can help us do that," he said.
