Perth will host the Wallabies in rugby union Tests against South Africa and Argentina under a new three-year agreement.

The deal between the Australian Rugby Union (ARU) and the WA government ensures the Wallabies' home Tri Nations Test against the Springboks next year is played at Patersons Stadium.

The following year, Perth gets a Wallabies v Argentina when the Tri Nations series is expanded to include Argentina.

Also in 2013, the Western Force Super Rugby team get a home match against the touring British and Irish Lions.

Another Test between Australia and South Africa is also fixed for 2014 in Perth.
