Stosur wins US doubles title

Australian Samantha Stosur and American partner Lisa Raymond have won the women's US Open doubles title at Flushing Meadows.
The tournament's sixth seeds beat Russian Elena Dementieva and Italian Flavia Pennetta 6-2 5-7 6-3 in the final.
The victory earned old Stosur her second grand slam title of 2005, after the 21-year-old teamed with fellow Queenslander Scott Draper to win the mixed doubles at the Australian Open in January.
