Greg Bird to captain Catalan Dragons

Former Cronulla star Greg Bird has been handed the captaincy of English Super League side Catalan Dragons.
Bird, who joined the Dragons after being released by the Sharks following assault charges against his girlfriend, will lead the French club against league leaders Leeds on Sunday.
Wakefield also return to action this weekend for the first time since the death of forward Leon Walker, who collapsed during a reserve grade fixture last week.
They will be boosted by former Bulldogs second-rower Frank Winterstein, who joined the club this week.
