Warriors half James Maloney has been found not guilty of a dangerous throw charge at the NRL judiciary.

New signing Maloney and back-rower Lewis Brown were placed on report following a tackle on Cronulla's Anthony Tupou during Saturday's win over the Sharks in Auckland.

They were each charged with a grade one dangerous throw.

Brown entered the early guilt plea and will miss one match, while Maloney beat his charge on Wednesday night.

He faced a two-game suspension if his defence had been unsuccessful.

Former Melbourne player Maloney will now line up at halfback against Brisbane at Suncorp Stadium on Sunday.

Earlier on Wednesday, Canberra's Shaun Fensom entered an early guilty plea to a dangerous throw charge and escaped a suspension.
