Anthony Mundine did the business and got out of Danny Green's den as quickly as possible at Challenge Stadium.

Mundine outclassed New Zealander Rico Chong Nee, stopping him in the third round.

He was greeted by a cavalcade of boos upon his entry to the ring and was jeered for much of the fight.

No sooner had referee Brad Vocale stopped the bout when Mundine scampered out of the arena and back to the dressing room.

He dominated Nee who was judged unable to continue after he was felled by a quick combination of blows.

With Green earlier winning every round on the three judges' scorecard against Kirino Garcia, the potential obstacles to a fight between the two world ranked super middleweights was removed.

Green re-entered the arena just before the Mundine fight to a huge roar from his supporters.

Mundine lent across the ropes, gesturing at Green who sat down at a table close to the ring.

Mundine's speed and accuracy proved too much for Nee, who had previously been stopped only once.

The few blows Nee landed were cheered to the echo, but he was no match for a quicker and harder punching Mundine.
