West Coast's Chick faces one-game ban

West Coast utility Daniel Chick faces a one-game suspension after the AFL match review panel charged him with striking.

The panel also handed a striking charge to Fremantle captain Peter Bell, but he can accept a reprimand because of a good record.

Chick's residual points from last year meant his penalty increased from a reprimand to a one-match ban.

The panel charged him for an incident where he pushed Kangaroos midfielder Jess Sinclair in the face.

Bell hit Adelaide defender Nathan Bassett in the stomach during Sunday's game at AAMI Stadium.

Charging reports laid during Saturday's game against Melbourne captain David Neitz and Sydney's Paul Bevan were dropped, as expected.
