Western Force have named an unchanged line-up for skipper Nathan Sharpe's record 137th Super Rugby appearance in Saturday night's clash with the Stormers in Cape Town.

Coach Richard Graham has shown faith in the 22-man squad that defeated the Lions last weekend, with James O'Connor to again play at five-eighth after Willie Ripia failed to overcome a niggling foot complaint.

"It's definitely good to be able to maintain consistency in selection," Graham said.

"However, having said that, the important thing is that the boys continue to earn their place, we always want to create an environment that is competitive and that has been the case at training again this week."

The Stormers are unbeaten after four games and sit on top of the table, with last week's win against the Bulls showcasing their title credentials.

It will be a record-breaking game for Sharpe, who will pass George Gregan's mark of 136 Super Rugby caps.

Force squad:

Pek Cowan, Ben Whittaker, Tim Fairbrother, Sam Wykes, Nathan Sharpe (capt), Richard Brown, Matt Hodgson, Ben McCalman, Brett Sheehan, James O'Connor, David Smith, Gene Fairbanks, Nick Cummins, Alfie Mafi, Cameron Shepherd Res: Nathan Charles, Kieran Longbottom, Tom Hockings, Tevita Metuisela, James Stannard, Matt Brandon, Pat Dellit.
