Australia has a chance to win its second successive Rugby World Cup when it takes on England in Saturday night's final at Telstra Stadium.

Rain and cool temperatures are forecast for the game.

Wallabies skipper George Gregan says his side has done all the work and preparation it can to successfully defend its title as world champion.

The Rugby World Cup final has the closest head-to-head betting market of the tournament with England slight favourites ahead of Australia according to bookmakers.
