The Bulldogs on Thursday confirmed the signing of St George Illawarra winger Josh Morris for three years.

The 21-year-old played for NSW Country last season and with his size and speed is considered a major signing for the Bulldogs.

Morris will part ways with his twin brother Brett who is still under contract at the Dragons until 2009.

"It's been well-known that we've been in the market for outside backs for a while and Josh has been a high priority for us," said Bulldogs chief executive Todd Greenberg.

"He has expressed a strong desire to establish himself as a centre and we hope to give him every opportunity at the Bulldogs to fulfil his potential."

A Bulldogs statement said Morris is the club's first "major" signing, with more announcements expected in the coming weeks.
