Joel Moon has been called up to replace the injured Lewis Brown in the centres for the Warriors' NRL clash with Canterbury at Mt Smart Stadium on Friday night.

With Brown out for up to four weeks with an ankle injury, the 23-year-old Moon returns to the side for his 75th NRL appearance, his first since playing in each of the club's first three matches of the season.

Since then the former Brisbane Broncos utility has been playing with several other squad members for the well-performed Auckland Vulcans in the NSW Cup.

Apart from Moon's recall to replace Brown, Warriors coach Ivan Cleary on Tuesday named the same side used in last Friday night's 22-6 win over Gold Coast, with Steve Rapira again named on a five-man bench.
